This year the traditional DAFx banquet will be held in the iconic Council House on Victoria Square. A landmark in Birmingham history, the building hosts not only part of the City Council, but also the Birmingham Art Museum and the Victorian Tea Rooms. Built in 1879, the Council House is a Grade II* listed building, and houses the Lord Mayor of Birmingham.
During the event, a formal three course dinner will be served, with wine and refreshments. As is tradition, speeches will be made, and best paper awards will be announced during the event.
